The last couple of days have been busy!  I took a group of students up to OMSI yesterday to see the Body Worlds Exhibit.  What a mixture of emotions...there was fascination, reverence, sadness, and gratitude...and those were just the ones felt by me.  A couple of the kids were a bit "creeped out".  As one put it, "It's a good thing we're doing this on a weekend, cause I won't be sleeping tonight."  If you ever get a chance to see the exhibit, I highly recommend it.  My students were great...they all got along, and had fun experiencing OMSI.

Today, we had 3 field trip opportunities for our students...the Douglas County Museum, Nordic Mill, and the UCC Viticulture/Oenology program.  I went with the group to UCC. Although I am not a fan of wine, the process of raising grapes (the grafting, planting, tending) is interesting, as I like growing things.  The day was beautiful, amazing actually for a February day.  There was a thick blanket of fog early, that was fairly quickly burnt off by the sun.  Made me think of spring!  :-)
